Right now I’m doing Forward Deployed Engineering at Poetic. Helping the world’s largest companies iterate at the pace of software. Previously I was at Vannevar Labs working on AI agents for defense and intelligence. Before that I started two companies: Bruinen (distributed databases in Rust) and OXO (Carsharing for Uber/Lyft drivers).
I studied AI and NLP at Stanford. I write code in Typescript, Python, and Rust.
Homelab
I spend a lot of time tinkering with my homelab. Current obsessions include running local inference on consumer hardware, video inference for tracking my pets around the house, and building an integrated home-management LLM that ties everything together.
